Armoy lies 9 km south west of Ballycastle and this small village is situated between Glenshesk and Glentaisie in the beautiful Glens of Antrim area. In the grounds of St. Patrick's church are the remains of a medieval round tower - now 11 meters high. This is the only trace of a monastry built here over 1500 years ago.
