Perfect Getaway - Pete & Laura Bristol, UK - Feb 2010
Beautiful and excellently equipped little cottage - perfectly located for all the best bits of the Antrim coast. The wine we received on arrival was exceptional and went down very nicely sat next to the wood stove. The house was great for two maybe a bit cosy for any more but we went in the winter without the option to spill into the garden! Excellent personal service from the owners.
We loved it! - Bonnie, Graham and Lynda Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia - Dec 2009
It's a worry when booking from afar (Australia) that the place won't live up to your expectations, but we were delighted with our stay at Northern Star Cottage. Even the weather was great - sunny days in December! Perfect idyllic location. You couldn't find a better location. We loved the Ballintoy Harbour at the end of the road, we walked on the Giant's Causeway, and even the rope bridge was open out of season because of the great weather! And at the end of each exhausting day, we came home to a lovely warm cottage, drank wine by the fire, and toasted the beauty of the Causeway Coast.
The cottage is compact, and just big enough for three adults. Facilities are suitable for a country cottage - we didn't expect anything fancy. Guests should do their shopping before they arrive because there's no food store in Ballintoy. Thanks, Clem, for being so obliging. It is a holiday we will always remember fondly.
