Ballymoney n the Antrim coast, within easy distance of Portrush and Portstewart, the town hosts the Ballymoney Drama Festival, the oldest drama festival in Ireland. The town was also home to the famous five time world motor cycle racing champion Joey Dunlop, known as the "king of the road." A statue in honour of Joey stands in the town.
