Situated south of Carnlough, Glenarm is reported to be the oldest town in Ulster. It boasts a fantastic 800 acre forest park, once part of the lands belonging to Glenarm Castle, which itself can still be seen while walking in the forest. The park is home to ancient oaks, sycamores, spruce as well as a salmon fishery. The village is now a conservation area and a beautiful spot for self catering Glenarm.
