Situated in North County Cavan south of the Analee River, Ballyhaise is a small village. Of historic note is Ballyhaise House on the river which is reputed to contain the earliest example of an oval room in Ireland. The bridge across the Analee, near Ballyhaise House, is over 500 years old.
