Kingscourt is a busy market town, 8 miles southeast of Shercock, is home to Cabra Castle. Built by the Normans it is now a 4 star hotel facility. In nearby Dun-a-Ri National Forest Park there's a wishing well. The area is of outstanding natural beauty.
