Killaloe is surrounded by some of the finest scenery in County Clare. The Slieve Bernagh Mountains,the Arra Mountains and Lough Derg have some wonderful walking trails including the 180 km East Clare Way. Killaloe Cathedral and the Brian Boru  Heritage Centre are well worth a visit .
