Ballydehob is a colourful village is famous for it’s many galleries, craft shops and pubs. It can be found twenty miles east of Mizen Head , the south western tip of Ireland.
Ballydehob (Béal Átha an dá Chab in Irish, meaning "The ford at the mouth of two rivers") was also the home of Danno Mahony, a champion wrestler. The Irish Whip pub in town is named after him. There are a number of rental properties available in this area.
