Snuggle for a while on a comfortable seat in the large stylish living room with raftered ceiling, log burning stove and delightful décor while enjoying views over the gardens and countryside. The large conservatory dining room with stunning views over Bantry Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond is perfect for family dinner gatherings. Walk out to the patio set in a private garden where you can bask in the sun and absorb the beauty of the of the gentle wooded hills while the kids play on the trampoline or with the football nets on the large front lawn.

Located in the peaceful hills above Bantry Bay you are a short distance from Castletownbere, an international fishing port and the second largest natural harbour in Ireland. As you browse the local shops you can’t help but notice the cosmopolitan nature of the town with many European languages being spoken mingled with the soft Irish brogue of the locals. Treat yourself to a mouth watering fresh seafood in one of the many excellent restaurants or watch the world go by in a local café. To round off the day spend an evening relaxing in one of the traditional Irish pubs complete with Irish music. For the more active there are water sports from wind surfing to sea angling while the 9 hole Berehaven Golf Club has magnificent views of Bere Island and the harbour. The Ring of Beara is extremely popular with walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and people who enjoy unspoiled natural beauty. Visit Bere Island by car ferry where you will find archaeological sites dating back to the Bronze Age or take a ride on Ireland’s only cable car to Dursey Island.

Bantry and its many historic attractions and amenities is only 50 km or Killarney town with excellent shopping, dining and festivals. Killarney National Park is a great day out, perfect for family picniks.
