Take a walk around cliff tops above Loch Hyne or explore Knock Drum an Iron Age Fort above Castletownshend. A scenic drive will take you past ancient copper mines, stone tumuli and stone circles in Dromberg. Golf enthusiasts will love the splendid course at Baltimore, 25 km away and make sure to take a boat trip to Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands or to watch whales, dolphins, sharks and seals. Schull offers a host of aquatic activities to suit all tastes from sailing dinghies and kayaks to scuba diving.
