The fully fitted kitchen is neat and spacious and a fireplace with a Morso stove provides a focal point for the open plan wooden beamed upstairs area. Downstairs are two snug bedrooms each equipped with two comfortable single beds guaranteeing a good nights sleep.

Located just opposite Horse Island at the entrance to Castletownshend Harbour you are just a short walk from the beach where you can swim or bask in the sun, an ideal place for children to frolic. Take a walk around cliff tops above Loch Hyne or explore Knock Drum an Iron Age Fort above Castletownshend. Treat yourself to sumptous seafood dishes a speciality of the area in in many of the excellent restaurants and bars.

Visit some of the interesting archaeological sites, including ancient copper mines, stone tumuli and stone circles as in Dromberg just a short drive away. Have a game of golf in Baltimore 25 km away from where you can also take a trip to Cape Clear and the Sherkin Islands. Take a scenic drive to the picturesque seaside town of Schull 32 kilometers away where you you can windsurf, sail dinghies, kayaks, scuba diving and watch dolphins, seals, whales and sharks.
