Barbara’s Cottage 1 is a beautiful and peaceful holiday retreat tucked away in rural country side surrounded by the sounds of nature yet close to all amenities of Castletownshend.

The cottage is spacious with 5 metre high cathedral ceilings and very stylish décor. The living room is bright and comfortable with slide doors leading to a lovely patio and garden. Soak up the sun and surrounding scenery while children play in the safe enclosed gardens. The bedrooms are very comfortable with quality linens. The bedroom on the ground floor has a king size bed and full bathroom.  The mezzanine floor has a fantastic loft bedroom with a king size bed where you can sleep under the stars gazing through the skylight window.

Castletownsend has beautiful beaches nearby where you can picnic, swim or relax on sunny days, ideal for children to frolic. Visit the bustling market town of Skibbereen just a few minutes away with good local shopping and a range of excellent restaurants. For a relaxing night out visit one of the traditional Irish bars in the area and enjoy the live Irish music sessions.

A scenic drive will take you past ancient copper mines, stone tumuli and stone circles in Dromberg.
