Clonakilty, a busy little market town has a number of beaches nearby and has good access to the rugged coastline and bays lying to the west.

The town has a some interesting historical sites most notably it’s connection to Michael Collins featured in the small West Cork museum in Clonakilty. West Cork Model Railway Village and Lios na gCon ringfort are well worth a visit . There are a number of holiday rental properties available locally
