Cobh is situated on Great Island, one of the three large islands in Cork harbor. This picturesque and historic seaport has a strong connection to the Famine years of 1844 to 1848 when thousands departed it’s harbor for the US.

The Heritage Centre, the Titanic Trail and St Colman’s Cathedral are well worth a visit. There are a number of good seafood restaurants locally and the port has a selection of tourist accommodation .
