Carbery Cottage is a stunning Irish Cottage with spectacular panoramic ocean views over the beautiful Barleycove Bay. The cottage is located near the famous Blue Flag Barleycove beach and Mizen Head Lighthouse which are both only a short stroll from the holiday cottage.

Carbery Cottage is an excellent seaside holiday home with 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 people comfortably. There are 3 double beds, twin beds and the cottage is furnished beautifully, making it very cosy.

There is a stylish kitchen and dining area, perfect for an easy self-catering holiday and entertaining all the family. There is a large enclosed garden with a patio area and barbecue facilities for you to enjoy the long summer evenings and amazing sea views.

Barleycove and Golleen is a very popular tourist area and has all the amenities to help you enjoy your visit. There are local shops and the Barleycove Beach Hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the cottage. The Hotel has a good restaurant and bar and an outdoor deck area to savour the glorious views. The hotel provides entertainment and live music sessions during the summer.

There are many activities in the area such as pony trekking, horse-riding, hillwalking, surfing, golfing and paintballing. The area is excellent for angling and deep sea fishing or you can take a recommended ferry trip to Cape Clear Island, or go whale watching. Do not miss the Mizen Head experience.

Barleycove Beach is considered one of the best beaches in Ireland and has the coveted Blue Flag award. It is a designated Special Area of Conservation and provides a wonderful beach experience.
