Rose Cottage is a large self-catering holiday cottage suitable to accommodate up to 11 people. It is located in a beautiful part of County Cork, near the village of Goleen.

The 5 bedroom holiday home in Cork is very spacious and comfortably furnished, ideal for a large family or group. It has a very large living room, large kitchen and dining area. There is a separate utility room, good for storing sports equipment or prams and an extra shower room for convenience.

The holiday home is private with a large gated garden which is very safe for children and pets. Barbeque facilities are also provided and the garden is great for enjoying the long bright summer evenings.

The holiday cottage is situated near the village of Goleen on the scenic coastal road on Mizen Head Peninsula. The drive along this coastal route is excellent with breathtaking views all around the peninsula. The famous Blue Flag beach at Barleycove is only 1 mile away and very popular with visitors. It is a beautiful long sandy beach, great for walking, swimming, surfing and for other watersports.

Mizen Head is the most South-westerly point in Ireland and boasts spectacular ocean views. On a good day the famous Fastnet Lighthouse on Fastnet Rock can be seen. The Mizen Head Lighthouse, signal station and visitors centre promises a great day out for all the family. There are lots of activities available in the area including golf, horse-riding, walking and sailing.
