Oysterhaven Holiday Cottages are superb self catering accommodation in an exceptional location overlooking Oysterhaven Bay near the resort town of Kinsale in Cork.

There are 9 cottages set amid an idyllic rural landscape, surrounded by rolling pasture and woodland, with spectacular sea views. Each cottage is built in a traditional style, featuring an open plan living space with 3 bedrooms to sleep 6 people comfortably.

Each cottage has a patio and barbecue area, with sun lounger, table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the summer weather and al fresco dining. There is a large lawn in front of the cottages and residents are also welcome to use our Tennis Courts free of charge. We also offer a catering service and can provide a selection of lunches, picnics or dinners delivered to your cottage.

The Oysterhaven Centre is regarded as Ireland's premier watersports and activity centre. There is a great choice of activities including Windsurfing, Sea Kayaking, Dingy Sailing, Cruising as well as Kids Summer Camps. There are Sailing courses also on offer for adults and group activities can be arranged.

Kinsale is one of the oldest and most fashionable resort towns in Ireland, a mecca for sailing and watersports. The cottages are only a 10 minute drive away from the town. Kinsale offers plenty for tourists including, galleries, craft shops, music venues and of course is famous for it's excellent restaurants. There are 3 golf courses, including the world famous Old Head, a private championship Golf course. Horse riding, clay bird shooting, archery, pottery workshops are also available close to the town.

Infant Cots, High Chairs and BBQ can be provided if requested in advance.

Tennis Courts are available for use, Free of charge, Subject to availability.

Booking Conditions

Saturday is the changeover day during July and August. Flexible arrival and departure dates available during remainder of the year.

Booking Deposit : A cottage reservation will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of €200 per cottage for July and August, or €100 for rest of the year. The deposit is non-refundable.

In some circumstances a damage or disturbance deposit may be requested - this is refundable at the end of the stay (subject to conditions).

The Balance of the total rental payment must be received 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of the booking. Non compliance with this condition will result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.

All credit card payments are subject to 3% fee.

Cancellation : In the event of any confirmed booking being cancelled - 6 weeks or less prior to commencement date of booking - the rental charge in full will be payable. We will endeavour to re-let the cottage for the cancelled period. A decision on the amount of refund will be made on the date the cancelled booking should have ended and the hirer will then be informed of the amount of refund (if any) to be paid.
