The cottage has been beautifully restored and offers a unique opportunity to wake up to the soft peaceful sounds of the lapping water with stunning water vistas. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. Relax in the living area snuggled up in front of the  fire or in the glassed sunroom with panoramic views as you watch the changing colours of the sea. Follow the open staircase up to the mezzanine bedroom for a better view or a good nights rest. The original cottage dates back many years and sits under the watch of Dunmanus Castle boasting superb sea views. Located on a scenic coastal road on a small fishing pier it is every fishermans dream. Watch your children fishing for crabs, swim off the pier or go walking across the fields and rocks. You can even buy fresh lobster and prawn from the local fishermen. Ballynrisode sandy beach is just five minutes drive and is ideal for children while the beautiful beaches of Barleycove and village of Crookhaven are just fifteen minutes away.

A visit to the resort of Schull just 10km away is a must, here you can windsurf, sail dinghies, kayaks or go scuba diving. The waters off Schull are filled throughout the summertime with dolphins, seals, whales and sharks so why not take a boat ride and see nature at its best. Visit one of the areas golf courses or follow the West Cork Garden Trail where there is an interesting array of gardens open to the public. Savour the local foods in many excellent restaurants or visit a traditional Irish pub and enjoy the wonderful live music sessions.
