Burtonport Beach Cottage is a unique self-catering holiday home located next to a beautiful golden sandy beach in a stunning part of Donegal.
This charming Irish cottage boasts beautiful water views as it sits on a tranquil sea inlet, set against a backdrop of green fields with four gorgeous horses, who make wonderful neighbours. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you need to make it a home from home. The cottage has 3 bedrooms to sleep 6 people comfortably. It has a wonderful deck area, perfect for families and small groups.
The local area is Tullyillion in Burtonport, also known as Tully Island. It is an enchanting little area with few holiday homes nearby so the beach house has a feeling of intimacy, with the picturesque harbour and postcard perfect family beach. The cottage is only a 2 minute walk to the beach, framed by two sheltering headlands.
Burtonport is a pretty fishing village only 7km from Dungloe. It is the mainland ferry port for Arranmore Island and the ferries run all year round. The island is a real beauty with a peaceful natural landscape, abundance of wildlife, perfect for quiet country walks. The island is popular for lake and sea fishing and lively pubs for evening entertainment.
Donegal is a wonderful county, rich in beauty, nature and culture. There are many activities for all interests and great visitor attractions for all the family.
