This traditional style Irish stone cottage is built on the ruins of an old Walstead keeping the charm and character of the era including half door and high ceilings yet offering the luxury and convenience of modern living. The kitchen and delightful dining area are bright, modern and very stylish, perfect for family gatherings. The 3 bedrooms are decorated beautifully, ensuring a genuine home from home feel. The private patio includes its own exclusive waterfall perfect to relax to the soothing sounds of the water while you watch a glorious sunset.
The cottage is located near the village of Glen with incredible views of Muckish and Errigal Mountains. A few kilometres away lies Carrigart with its Victorian architecture nestled between Sheephaven Bay and Mulroy Bay which provide beautiful scenic views of the coastline. Downings village is another popular seaside town, buzzing with visitors in the summer and only 9.5 km from the cottage. It is the main fishing village situated on a beautiful golden sandy beach. This Blue Flag beach is ideal for children as the water is very shallow. Downings is home to the famous Atlantic Coast Drive. Both villages offer many activities including golfing at the championship Rosapenna Course, horse-riding, wind-surfing, diving, fishing and excellent pubs and restaurants. There is also a gym and swimming pool in Downings for rainy days.
Other highlights in the area include Glenveigh National Park, Castle and Gardens, Ards Forest Park, Glebe Gallery and boat trips to Tory Island.

Electric and heating provided.
1. A strict maximum of 6 persons per cottage. The hirer must accept full responsibility for ensuring that your party comply fully with the Terms and Conditions of Rental.
2. A Booking Deposit of 25% of the cottage rental cost is required to confirm the reservation. A reservation is not valid until the Booking Deposit is received.
Weekend and midweek bookings must be paid for in full at the time of reservation.
3. The Full Balance of the rental is payable 8 weeks before occupation. Failure to pay by this date could lead to cancellation of the reservation. The responsibility for ensuring that the balance of the rental is paid over on a timely basis rests entirely with the Hirer.
4. In the event of cancellation within the 8 week period, the Booking Deposit is forfeited unless the cottage is re-let at the quoted brochure price.
5. The rental period is from 4.00pm on the afternoon of arrival until 10.00am on the morning of departure.
6. A Security Deposit of €100 is payable and must be included with the balance of the rental cost. Guests will be held responsible for damages to the cottages and equipment during their stay. Where appropriate, the breakages deposit will be refunded on departure, provided the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition.
7. The Hirer is responsible for leaving the cottages and equipment in good order and in a clean and tidy condition and for ensuring that the Hirer, and all members of his/her party, behave in a reasonable manner with regard to the property and its environs during their stay.
8. The Proprietors or their agents may, at all reasonable times, visit the cottages to ensure that the Terms and Conditions of Rental are being complied with and they reserve the right to repossess the property during the Hirer's occupancy where there are material breaches of the rental covenants.
9. Neither the Proprietors, nor their agents, accept liability for losses of any nature howsoever suffered by any person, from any cause arising in connection with that person's occupation of or attendance at the holiday accommodation.
