The cottage is located very near the popular seaside resort villages of Carrigart and Downings which both have a great choice of excellent pubs and restaurants. The area is popular with enthusiastic fishermen, hillwalkers and watersports enthusiasts. There is a new surf shop in Downings and the annual wind-surfing competition takes place there every summer.

The well renowned Rosapenna Golf Links Course is very near and there are many beautiful attractions to visit like Glenveagh National Park and Glebe Gallery. The area is surrounded by amazing beaches and unbelievable natural scenic beauty. There is so much to see and do in this spectacular Irish beauty spot.
