Moores Holiday Homes are family run holiday homes and chalets in Dunfanaghy, County Donegal.
All units were recently refurbished in 2008 and the houses underwent total redecoration, resulting in a clean, modern feel. There is a choice between 3 bedroomed chalets or 5 bedroomed houses. There is a large central green area, with BBQ facilities and picnic benches and a new hardwood playground in a central location. Guests also have the use of an enclosed tennis court.
The fantastic location of Moores Holiday Homes appeals to families, couples and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Dunfanaghy village is less than 10 minutes walk away, as are the 18 hole golf links and blue flag Killahoey beach.
Dunfanaghy is a picturesque village situated in the North West of Donegal, nestled in Sheephaven Bay. It is surrounded by magnificent coastal and mountain scenery.
It is much loved by both national and international tourists alike from walkers, fishermen and golfers to photographers, artists and nature lovers. The area is very popular among families who enjoy watersports and horse-riding.
Dunfanaghy is a town that is made for holidays; the majestic sea cliffs of Horn Head overlook the village and dominates the surrounding area. There is an abundance of beaches within easy reach – Killyhoey, Portnablagh, Marble Hill, Ards and Tramore at Horn Head.
Glenveagh National Park and Ards Forest Park are all within a short drive. There are many art gallery's, pottery studios and craft shops dotted around. There's a good choice of coffee shops, restaurants and of course pubs with excellent live music. Don't miss the Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival in September.
