Sandhill Holiday Apartment is excellent self-catering accommodation located beside the beautiful village of Dunfanaghy on the north coast of Donegal.
This superb seaside apartment boasts breathtaking panoramic sea views overlooking Sheephaven Bay, Killahoey Beach and majestic Horn Head. The holiday apartment is very spacious and beautifully furnished throughout. It has one double bedroom upstairs and an open plan kitchen and living area downstairs.
This self-catering Donegal accommodation has a private landscaped garden and car park and is directly opposite Dunfanaghy Golf Club. The famous championship Rosapenna golf course is also very near in Downings and there are another 4 courses in the local area.
There are lots of things to see and do locally with dozens of Blue Flag golden sandy beaches including Killahoey, Marble Hill and Tramore. The area is very popular for surfing, wind-surfing, boating and fishing.
Dunfanaghy has an equestrian centre and 2 surf shops, with lessons suitable for all ages. The charming village also offers a good choice of shops, art galleries, coffee shops, excellent pubs and restaurants with live music. Don't miss the Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues festival in early September. Glenveagh National Park and Glenveagh Castle are only a short drive away and should not be missed. There are many gentle walks or strenuous hikes to choose from. Ards Forest Park is also a beautiful place to explore, great for walking and cycling. If you require some pampering then you will certainly enjoy the beautiful Spa at the Shandon Hotel.
Sandhill self-catering apartment is an excellent holiday home, close to Dunfanaghy village, the local beaches and the golf course. This is first class accommodation where you will certainly enjoy the best of Donegal.
