Ocean View sits on an elevated site on one of the most sought after locations near the popular village of Dunfanaghy. Situated on the hillside of Horn Head it enjoys spectacular panoramic vistas of Sheephaven Bay and Killahoey Beach.

The modern cottage is finished beautifully, with plenty of room to accommodate up to 8 people. The daylight pours into the holiday home making it incredibly bright and enhancing the already breathtaking views of the ocean and Donegal mountains.

Dunfanaghy is a walkers paradise as there are many forest, coastal and hill walks to enjoy. Horn Head is a spectacular headland with an excellent coastal walk and a new signposted walking route, McSwynes Gun Loop Walk which is off-road passing beautiful golden sandy beaches, striking cliffs, seabird colonies and forest paths. There are more walking routes at Glenveagh National Park which is only 30 minutes from the holiday home. Advanced walkers will enjoy the challenge of climbing the majestic mountains of Muckish and Errigle.

There are also an abundance of beautiful lakes where fishing permits can be granted and golfers will enjoy the stunning coastal courses at Dunfanaghy Golf Club and Rosapenna Golf Club in Downings.

The area is also popular for watersports with regular surfing and wind-surfing events. There are two surf shops in the village, a wide variety of craft shops and galleries as well as grocery shops. The village has an annual programme of festivals and the 5 pubs always provide live music during the holiday season. The village is also home of the internationally renowned Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival which takes place annually on the second weekend of September. There are also a number of fine restaurants locally and shops available for all your grocery needs.
