The main beach at the village is the golden Killahoey Strand and a brief walk away is the secluded picturesque Tramore Strand. The equally splendid beaches of Marble Hill, Falcarragh and Ards Forest are a brief drive away and all are excellent for both family and avid water sports enthusiasts alike.  Surfing, sea kayaking and diving are very popular in the region.
