Dunlewey is a tiny village which lies at the foot of the magnificent Mount Errigal, the largest mountain in the county. It is nestled amid fine scenery overlooking two lakes which run the length of the valley.

There are great walking routes including one to the summit of the mountain, around the lakes and through the Poisioned Glen. The Dunlewey Visitors Centre is worth a visit and if you want to enjoy the tales of time gone by, take a story telling trip on one on the boats that cruise the lakes.
