Mary Deeney's Cottages - Muff, Donegal

Mary Deeney's self-catering accommodation are 5 individually styled cottages on the beautiful Inishowen scenic route between Muff and Quigley's Point.

The 5 cottages are clustered together in a courtyard area like a small Irish village square. There are four cottages forming a part of single L shaped structure, with a separate detached cottage, completing the open square formation.

House 1: 1 double bedroom with sofa bed in living room, sleeps 4 - €395 p/w.

House 2: 3 bedrooms, 1 triple, 2 double with 1 en-suite, sleeps 7 (with camp bed 8)- €550 p/w.

House 3: 2 bedrooms, 1 triple room + double bed and set of bunk beds, sleeps 7- €495 p/w.

House 4: 3 bedroom, 2 single + 1 double bed with en-suite sleeps 4- €495 p/w.

House 5: 3 bedroom, 2 triple + 1 double bed can sleep 8- €550 p/w.

Each cottage is different from the other, with its own unique character, some with thatched or tiled roofing, some with stone faced walls and others in white painted plaster. All the cottages have the same basic features and quality throughout, though they differ in style, size, and appearance. There is a cottage to suit everyones needs with a single, double and three bedroom options. This is the ideal spot for large groups or families perhaps attending weddings or activities in the area.

The very popular Mary Deeney's pub and restaurant are just next door where you can enjoy the ambience of a traditional Irish pub and enjoy the excellent cuisine. It is a firm favorite with locals and tourists alike.

Muff is the nearest village to the Cottages - just 5km away, from here you are only 5 minute drive to the South and close to the Northern Ireland border and the city of Derry which is only 8km away.

The cottages are off the R238, between Muff and Quigley's Point, nestled at the foot of Iskaheen mountain and overlooking Lough Foyle. It is only a 15 minute drive to Derry City which is great for shopping and nightlife.

We can arrange sightseeing trips and airport transfers to and from accommodation, which is great for large or small groups as the fee is a lot less expensive than airport taxi's or tours.

We at Mary Deeney's strive to cater for our customers requirements, we try to make your stay as hassel free as possible, we are flexible with our dates & check in times, you pick the date and time, we accommodate, we do not operate a Saturday to Saturday booking system, unless our customer requires to do so.
