The countryside views from the house are truly amazing and provides the setting for a peaceful, tranquil holiday. Guests will thoroughly enjoy exploring the wildlife sanctuary and forest walks next to the cottage. Tennis courts are also available for guests use.

The historic Georgian village of Ramelton is only 5 minutes from the holiday home. Set on the banks of the River Lennon, the village has shops, pubs, restaurants, art gallery and an Ancestry Centre. The river is renowned for its excellent quality of fishing. Letterkenny, the largest town in Donegal, is only 15 minutes away and has a good choice of leisure clubs, cinema, theatre, shopping centres, pubs and restaurants.

Rathmullan and Portsalon are popular seaside towns nearby with beautiful beaches, watersports, horse-riding and golfing. There is also a car ferry which crosses Lough Swilly allowing you to explore the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula.

Glenveagh National Park is one of the best attractions in Donegal with excellent walks, gardens and castle. It is only 30 minutes away from the cottage and should not be missed.
