Dovedale Cottage is an award winning beautiful 5* Star cottage set amid 60 acres of gorgeous farmland with spectacular panoramic views across the rolling hills and mountains of Mourne.

Dovedale is part of Golfkeel Cottages, 200 year old stone barns lovingly restored, evolved into 3 unique self catering cottages with exceptional character and old world charm, featuring many period items. All furniture and fittings were especially chosen and designed to give a relaxed country feeling, with each cottage boasting extremely comfortable family sized accommodation.

Dovedale Cottage has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to sleep 6 people. There are two double bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The beds are super kingsize which can be converted to single beds if required. It is wheelchair friendly with Category 1 status for wheelchair users. There is an outside garden area with patio and barbeque area to enjoy the amazing views of the countryside.

Dovedale, Oatfield and The Loft cottages are located outside Banbridge, only 25 minutes drive from Belfast offering a wealth of sights and outdoor activities. They are perfect for families, small groups or business travellers ensuring a relaxing break where you can totally unwind.

Banbridge is a veritable angler's paradise with many rivers and lakes providing some of the best angling Northern Ireland has to offer. The Upper River Bann is one of the most famous fishing waters in the region offering all species of fish, including Pike, Rudd, Perch, Bream, Roache, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout.

Golfers will enjoy Banbridge Golf Club with its 18 hole course and driving range. The Newry Canal Towpath is popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters with interesting places to stop and stories guaranteed to fascinate any traveller. Whether it be the important archaeological sites around Scarva, the extensive Linen history of Gilford and Tandragee, or, simply, the superb engineering of the canal, there will be something to intrigue every visitor. Of course the majestic Slieve Donard and the Mourne mountains, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, are the biggest attraction locally.

From Belfast - Journey time is around 30 minutes by car (26 miles). Take the M1 Motorway turning off at junction 7 then the A1 dual carriageway to Banbridge, turn off the carriageway into Banbridge. Travel straight through the first three sets of lights and turn right at the fourth set of lights. You are now on the Huntly Road, travel out this road for about one mile, Ballykeel Road is on your left, travel up for about 800 yards and Golfkeel is on your right.
