This small cathedral town of Dromore, 19 miles south-west of Belfast is of historic interest, it's present day cathedral, being situated on the site of a 6th century monastery. The cathedral grounds contain a 6th century celtic high cross There's also a rare set of gallows in the town's market square and, just outside the town, stand the ruins of a Norman castle.
