Cove Holiday Home is lovely self catering accommodation facing the Irish sea in the charming little village of Groomsport.
This 4 bedroomed house is very spacious to sleep 7 people comfortably. Built in 2004 it is finished to a high standard with luxury furnishings and broadband internet and phone for free local landline calls. There is a large sun room with wonderful sea views and the sandy beach is only a few steps away.
Groomsport is a small seaside village on the south shore of Belfast Lough, with a natural sheltered harbour, between Ballymacormick Point and the rocky outcrop known as Cockle Island. The harbour is popular for sailing and pleasure craft and has a new sailing club. Visit Cockle Row Heritage Centre, where two former fishermen's cottages have been restored so visitors can step back in time and experience how fishermen lived in the early 20th century.
The quiet picturesque village boasts an award-winning restaurant, a wine bar and a traditional pub as well as a coffee shop and grocery store, all within walking distance.
The busy seaside town of Bangor is only 2 miles from the village which has a large marina and yacht club. If you like architecture you will enjoy the fine Victorian and Edwardian buildings which makes this an alluring resort.
Groomsport Holiday Home is an ideal choice for a beach holiday, or as a base to visit the many heritage sites and explore the natural beauty of Northern Ireland.
