The Apartment has been converted into a beautiful New York style apartment. Previously used as a hay barn, the redesign is modelled on a New York loft conversion idea retaining much of the original character and featuring the original open beams.

The Apartment has 1 bedroom to sleep 2 people. It features an open balcony bedroom with twin beds. The apartment is very spacious with an open plan, contemporary design. The lounge features a traditional black cast-iron enclosed gas fire and is furnished beautifully. There is a communal laundry room provided on-site and a large garden with breathtaking sea views over Strangford Lough.

The local area is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with special scientific interest. The surrounding coastline is managed by the prestigous National Trust who also own the famous Mountstewart House, located only 10 minutes away from your accommodation. This 18th century mansion is spectacular, a wonderful attraction to visit. Spend the day, take a guided tour of the mansion and wander around the captivating gardens. Ballyquinton National Nature Reserve, is also on your doorstep and boasts spectacular views across the Strangford Narrows to the Isle of Man, and the famous Mourne Mountains. The mountains are among the most popular mountains in the country and visited frequently by tourists, hillwalkers, cyclists and rock climbers.

County Down also offers excellent golfing, angling and sailing. Also on your doorstep is the magnificent Castle Ward Estate, the Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry and The Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick. The seaside towns of Strangford and Bangor are well worth a visit and your trip would not be complete without a tour of Belfast City.
