Rostrevor is a small coastal village on Carlingford Lough at the foot of Slieve Martin in the Mourne Mountains. There's a annual folk music festival called the Fiddler's Green Festival. Nearby "Cloughmore" is a 30 ton granite rock, 1000 feet above the village.
Legend has it that the Irish gaint, Finn McCool, threw the rock across the bay from the oposite Cooley Mountains. Walking around the rock 7 times is said to bring good luck.
