Dalkey has become fashionable as the spot where the rich and famous reside.

It is well served by the DART and buses, with spectacular views of Killiney Bay and Dalkey Island, with many interesting shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre are a must see for any visitor. Dalkey Island provides the opportunity for an interesting boat trip, and once on the island visitors can explore the ruins of a 17th century church, or try a spot of fishing or seal watching.
