Skerries is one of Ireland's premier seaside resorts, with a long strand, safe bathing and just 20 minutes drive from Dublin Airport, great for self catering Skerries. Take a walk around the headland for some spectacular views of the coast.

Ardgillan Demesne is situated on the elevated coastline between Balbriggan and Skerries and is unique among Dublin's Regional Parks for the magnificent views it enjoys of the coastline. The park consists of 194 acres of rolling pasture land, mixed woodland and gardens, overlooking the bay of Drogheda. Ardgillan is a sanctuary for many species of mammals and birds for which the densely wooded grounds provide a safe retreat from surrounding agricultural land.

The harbour is renowned for its fishing and fine cuisine, notably Dublin Bay prawns (langoustine). There are several pubs of character along the harbour front to enjoy a pint before a delicious meal. This is a perfect spot.
