Photos and Description of this holiday home in County Fermanagh

Erne View Cottage is a beautiful cottage located on the enchanting Crom Estate, an exceptional nature reserve on the shores of Upper Lough Erne, in Fermanagh.

Erne View accommodation is the largest of 7 cottages located in the professionally restored Old Farmyard courtyard. The cottage has 4 bedrooms to sleep 6 people, a double bed, a twin bedroom and 2 single rooms. It has breathtaking views over Lough Erne, Inishfendra island and the surrounding woodland. The cottage has been adapted so it is accessible for accompanied wheelchair users. The dining room also has a sofa bed so that it can be used as a bedroom if required.

Crom Cottages are located next to the lake and feature a shared picnic area on the lawn. There are numerous nature trails and excellent boating and fishing opportunities. There is a visitors centre, children's play area and the Little Orchard tea-room, all within walking distance of the cottages. Occasionally, weddings are celebrated at Crom and there may be some entertainment provided at the visitors centre. Restaurants can be found in the nearby towns of Lisnaksea and Newtownbutler or a little further in Enniskillen.

Crom is the one of the most important nature reserves in Ireland with 2,000 acres of waterways, parkland and ancient woodland. It is situated in the beautiful lakeland county of Fermanagh on Upper Lough Erne beside the Shannon-Erne Waterway.

There are many activities on offer in the local area. The Lough Erne Golf Resort and Castle Hume Golf course are very near and the lough is popular for cruising, canoeing, fishing and water-skiing. Visit the other National Trust properties nearby, Florence Court and Castle Coole. Also, Enniskillen Castle, Belleek Pottery and the UNESCO Marble Arch Caves Geopark are great days out for all the family.

The cottages are perfect for large families or groups as the accommodation is located together in a courtyard setting.

Erne View Cottage is a real home from home, set amid the grounds of a magical estate. It is a wonderful place for an unforgettable holiday.
