With it's equal number of churches and pubs, Irvinestown is home to a 10 day carnival in mid July-The Lady of the Lake Festival. Necarne Castle is nearby and is now an equestrian centre. Nature lovers will enjoy the nearby Castle Archdale Country Park with it's red deer, butterfly garden, marina and tea shop.
