This luxury holiday home is part of the exclusive Sunny Bank Estate situated on Church Hill overlooking the town of Clifden in County Galway.
Sunny Bank Cottage is an elegant cottage set in its own grounds is a renovated old Irish cottage with open fires, old wooden floors, connemara granite counter tops. Tastefully decorated, the three double bedrooms are all ensuite, with really good beds and linen for a good nights sleep.
The front and back gardens are private and sunny with outdoor furniture and BBQ. The open plan living room and kitchen are large yet cosy with the all modern conveniences including satellite TV and wireless broadband. The ground floor bedroom has its own beautiful ensuite bathroom, bath and shower and overlooks the front garden. There is a large double bed, good quality bedroom furniture, plenty of starge, wooden floor boards and is very warm and cosy. Second ground floor bedroom, has a double bed with bathroom including large shower. The upstairs bedroom is very large with a large double bed. We can put an extra bed in here comfortably if needed. It too has a beautiful bathroom including shower and bath. All bedrooms have been tastefully decorated, with original floors and bathrooms finished in local stone, and marble. They all have power showers, heated towel rails, white cotton bedlinen and towels.
Situated on Church Hill, it borders the Sunnybank estate, overlooking the town of Clifden, and at the beginning of the Sky road. The cottage is ideally located for a stroll into town (1min), exploring Connemara, or just putting on the turf fire and relaxing.
Our guests enjoy complimentary use of the nearby Station House Hotel Health and leisure centre. The cottage is aimed at guests who enjoy a high standard of accommodation and it is available off season for shorter stays. Please contact us to arrange.

There are many activities for all including the Ballyconeelley Championship Golf links, Clifden Boat Club, Delphi and Killary adventure centres, The station house theatre, daily boat trips to the islands. It is truly an excellent base for discovering the real Ireland with it's unrivalled beauty and heritage.
You will find deserted beaches, (unusual these days) or stroll throughout the countryside at your will where you will view Connemara ponies, wildlife, flora and fauna or simply relax in the peace and quiet!
