The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, large open plan living room with an open turf fire and double doors leading out to the patio. There is an additional sitting room upstairs with a gallery to enjoy the beautiful panoramic sea views.

The nearest beach is 2 minutes away and the safe swimming Ballinskelligs Blue Flag beach is just a ten minute walk. The shop, local pub and restaurant are also a ten minute walk, where you will enjoy a high standard of food and drink served in a homely and friendly atmosphere.

Ballinskelligs is a quiet beautiful small village near the world famous Ring of Kerry. The nearby towns are Caherciveen and Waterville, best known for its magnificent Waterville Golf Links course are reached within 15 minutes. There are other Golf Courses at Dooks, Beaufort, Kenmare and Killarney.

Visit the local Skelligs Chocolate Factory where you can watch the famous luxury chocolates being made and then sample some delicious bites. Take a boat trip to the famous Skellig Michael Island or take in some angling in the safe waters. A visit to the Cill Rialaig Famine Village and artists retreat is a must where you can meet artists from all over the world working on their masterpieces. Horse riding, canoeing and wind surfing are just a few of the local amenities. Within ten miles there is superb fresh water fishing in Waterville lake where wild salmon and sea trout are landed . There is superb sea angling all along the coast and boats can be hired locally.
