Ard na Gréine self-catering holiday home is located in Ballingskelligs on the beautiful South West Coast of Kerry only 8kn off the famous Ring of Kerry. Towns closest to it are Caherciveen and Waterville. They are 15 minutes’ drive.
The holiday home has 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one of which is ensuite and 1 single to sleep 5 people comfortably. A cot is also available. There is a separate shower room.
The sitting room/dining room are open plan with comfortable seating, satellite T.V, DVD and video and an open fire (complimentary starter pack of turf).
There is oil central heating throughout. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything to make your stay feel like a home away from home.
The holiday home is semi-detached with its own private entrance and privately enclosed gardens and has stunning mountain and sea views. It is only 1.5km from the village of Dungegan and the beautiful blue flag Ballinskelligs beach.
The area is very popular for watersports, including, surfing, kayaking and sea angling. Trips to the world famous UNESCO Skellig Rocks can be arranged for you.
There are many walks to be enjoyed in particular the Bolus Head walk. Explore the Cill Rialaig monastic settlement, the famine village and artist retreat.
In the general area you can also enjoy golf in nearby Waterville, hire a bicycle in Caherciveen, and enjoy the restaurants and an Irish night in the local pubs.
