Ballydavid is a quiet and charming fishing village that is still Irish speaking. Local fishermen continue to use the traditional Irish curragh to fish and this wonderful village still has a curragh building industry.

Gallurus oratory, one of Ireland’s best preserved early Christian churches ,is located nearby. Ballydavid is located 10 km north west of the town of Dingle.
