The rugged shores and mountains of Catherdaniel are ideal for walking, angling, swimming, diving and horse riding. One of Irelands most beautiful beaches is located here just one mile from the village.

The long distance Kerry Way can also be accessed. The excellent Derrynane House and Museum is well worth a visit.
