Naas is the county town of County Kildare and is said to have been visited by Saint Patrick.

It's a fairly large town and as such has all the facilities one might expect including 2 race courses (Naas and Punchestown) and several night-clubs.

The well known Oxygen Music Festival takes place on Punchestown race-course each year.
