Piltown is a charming historic village on the border of County Kilkenny and only 20 minutes from the busy town of Carrick-on-Suir in Tipperary. Piltown is home to the distinctive napoleonic tower monument which forms a roundabout in the road. The International agricultural Iverk Show is held in the town on the first Thursday of September and attracts visitors from around the world. The town is also home to Ireland's largest Horticultural and Agricultural College, Kildalton College.
