The pretty harbour in Dromod has excellent pubs and restaurants of this little town make it popular with cruising tourists . Cavan and Leitrim Railway Museum and the wildfowl sanctuaries are also big attractions.

The Railway Museum has a selection of steam and diesel trains and vintage buses and tells the story of Ireland’s narrow gauge railways. There is a good section of holiday rental properties available locally.
