Kilmallock has a wealth of medieval buildings and history. Kilmallock Museum has some fascinating artifacts. It provides some good background information on the town and an interesting walking tour.

Friars Gate Theatre and Arts Centre is also worth a visit. The village is only 26km south of Limerick .
