It is located in the lively bustling town of Dundalk which boasts a state of the art all weather horse/greyhound stadium, ice skating rink, 10 pin bowling and an array of other leisure centres and activities. It is home to the county museum, and numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and music revenues were you can enjoy the craic, as well as having parks and beaches nearby to relax and unwind.
There is no shortage of things to see and do with the world heritage site of Bru na Boinne only 20 minutes away, containing the oldest Neolithic tombs in the world, whilst there explore the Boyne Valley and the Battle of the Boyne site as well as fantasia for the children and miles of sandy beaches.
Travelling a similar distance north brings you to the famous Mountains of Mourne, providing you with some of the most scenic drives in Ireland.
Closer to home is the medieval village of Carlingford, standing on the shores of Carlingford Lough with the stunning Cooley Mountains as a backdrop, view the castle ruins and heritage centre or meander through the streets of this vibrant village or enjoy water sports in Carlingford’s adventure centre.
Take a trip back in time with a visit to the Navan Fort in Armagh and while there star gaze in the Armagh Planetarium or take the children to Saint Patrick train visitor complex.
Being only 50 miles from both capital cities of Dublin and Belfast, these combine the best of traditional and modern Ireland to both enthral and entertain you.
In Dublin, you can visit the birth place of the black stuff, the Guinness Storehouse, as well as Kilmainham Gaol, the Book of Kells and many other fascinating attractions. Take time to savour the atmosphere of this eclectic capital with its museum, theatres and culture.
While in Belfast you can see where the Titanic was born or take a Black Taxi Tour through the city where past diversities are depicted in the colourful wall mural tradition.
Take a tour of Belfast City Hall or visit Ulster Museum in Botanic Gardens.
If you have the time why not take a day trip along the fabulous Antrim coastline to the Giants Causeway world heritage site and see the towering cliffs and hexagonal rocks which make this area so special.

The house is centrally located in Dundalk and is very close to amenities, road and train networks.
