Lying approximately mid-way between Dublin and belfast, Omeath is on the picturesque coast of County Louth. It has good tourist facilities such as the Tain Holiday Village with it's leisure centre.

The town has good restaurants and bars and it's possible to arrange pony-and-trap rides.
