The living room features an open fireplace and patio doors which lead to beautiful gardens, patio and barbeque area. The house is very private as it is surrounded by mature trees, green fields and has a river running through. The house is accessed by a gated tree-lined driveway. It is the perfect home for entertaining large families or groups of friends.
Ashbourne is a lively market town with many amenities including the Ashbourne Golf Club, Puddenhill Activity Centre where families will enjoy karting, clay pigeon shooting, barage paintball and an animal farm. There are fitness centres, cinema as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants locally.
Slane is an 18th century village famous in recent times Slane Castle, home of the annual Slane Rock Concert and historically for the Hill of Slane, where Saint Patrick lit the Pascal Fire. The village overlooks the River Boyne site of the 17th century Battle of the Boyne, remembered as one of the most significant battles in Irish history. Slane is only a 20 minute drive from the holiday home.
The house is also very close to some of Irelands most historical sites including Newgrange, The Hill of Tara, Bective Abbey, Trim Castle and Kells. Dublin City is also only 20 minutes from the property and offers an abundance of visitor attractions including The Guinness Storehouse, The Custom House, Dublin Castle, St. Stephens Green and Trinity College among many more.
Adelphi Lodge is a beautiful self-catering holiday home set on its own private grounds and close to all the local amenities and attractions. This is a great base for exploring Counties Meath, Kildare and Dublin City.
