The beautiful sandy beach, which is literally on the doorstep of the cottage, stretches for 6 miles and is idyllic for walks in the glorious midday sun or on the wonderful long summer evenings. A wealth of leisure activities are available including golf, horse riding, and painting and photography courses, as well as a dive centre in nearby Bettystown. Funtasia is also nearby, a fantastic children’s adventure park. Places of historical interest include the town of Kells, only a one-hour drive away and home of the famous Book of Kells.
